Entering Keywords
You can enter one or more words in the search box.
You can modify your search using the words and wildcards
listed on the right.
Where the Search Engine Searches
By default, the Search feature searches the entire Support
Web, including the Entegrity
Documentation Library and the Knowledgebase.
Limiting the Search to a Particular Product
You can search for a word or phrase, but limit your search
to a particular product. For example, you might want to search
for DLL, but only as it applies to the NetCrusader/Web
product. To search within a particular product, use the search
box on the Knowledgebase
page.
What the Search Engine Searches
By default, the search engine searches whole words. If you
enter CAT, the search engine will not find
CATEGORY unless you use a wildcard character
(*) at the end of the string, as follows:
CAT*
Because a whole word is defined by spaces, if you enter SEC_DEFAULT_ENTRY,
the search engine will not find SEC_DEFAULT_ENTRY:REG_SZ
unless you use the wildcard character (*),
as follows:
SEC_DEFAULT_ENTRY*
If you enter CAT, the search engine will
not find CATEGORY unless you use a wildcard
character (*) at the end of the string, as
follows:
CAT*
