Junctions

The Junctions screen allows you to add, remove, and configure junctions. This screen appears only if you checked the Enable Junctions box on the Authentication screen.

A NetCrusader junction is a mechanism to proxy URL requests from a Security Adapter server to another web server.

Select the web directory entries to be configured as junctions

The list box shows the directory structure for the web server and any virtual servers configured. Expand the list to show the directory where you want to add or change a junction. When you select an entry in this list, the entry’s full path appears in the Entry field. If the entry is a junction, it appears as a yellow diamond with forked arrows, and This entry is a junction is checked.

The web server on which you create a junction is referred to as the junction server. The junction server must have the NetCrusader/Web Security Adapter installed. The web server that you access through the junction is referred to as the target server.
