This chapter describes how to remove NetCrusader/Web software and some software installed as part of the Solaris NetCrusader/Web package. It contains the following sections:
6.2 Uninstalling the Software
You can disable the Security Adapter software from one or more web servers or completely uninstall the software from the system. This section gives the procedures for uninstalling from a system. For information on disabling the software, see Section 5.4 on page 33.
If you have created virtual web directories that point to the NetCrusader/Web samples directories, you must delete the virtual directories before you uninstall NetCrusader/Web. If you do not delete the virtual directories, the uninstaller will be unable to remove them
6.2 Uninstalling the Software
When you uninstall NetCrusader/Web software, you remove all installed components, even if they were installed separately. See the NetCrusader/Web Overview Guide for a list and description of NetCrusader/Web components.
Click Yes only if you will not be reinstalling or upgrading the Security
Adapter on this system.
