The Security Adapter is the NetCrusader/Web tool that incorporates NetCrusader security directly into your web server. You can use the Security Adapter with Microsoft Internet Information Server and Netscape Enterprise Server.
The Security Adapter is implemented as an ISAPI filter on Microsoft IIS or an NSAPI filter on Netscape Enterprise server. The NetCrusader/Web Installation and Operation Guide has details on which versions of these web servers are supported. Version 4.0 is available on Microsoft Windows NT and Sun Solaris. Version 4.1 is available only on Windows NT.
The Security Adapter provides:
· Support for one or more of authentication schemes
· NetCrusader authorization services
